Civil engineering (General)</subject><description>Use high beams on construction more widely used, but usage and its use is only designed to use only minimum reinforcement for flexural reinforcement and shear reinforcement. This study will look at how big the influence of reinforcement gesar, additional reinforcement for, and the difference of shear span and effective depth (a / d) of the shear stiffness of the beams. The samples used are box-sized (130x450x1500) mm as many as 15 beams with varied penuh.Variabel&#xD; scale is the vertical shear reinforcement, point loading and the amount of reinforcement for. The specimens of quality reinforced concrete fc = 34 MPa and fy = 308MPa to 6mm diameter and 384Mpa to diameter 10. Testing is done by giving two point load on a given beam pedestal pickup joints. Giving weight gradually at intervals of 100 kg until the concrete cracks and continue until the ultimate condition is reached. Deflection readings made at the bottom of the beam loading pint. The calculation result is teoritistis shear stiffness has an average value is greater than the value of research results. The greater the ratio of shear span (a / d), the shear stiffness value of the smaller beam. In the ratio a / d = 1.2 the shear stiffness value 32% smaller than the value of shear stiffness on the ratio a / d = 0.8 and the ratio a / d = 1.0 the shear stiffness values 6% lower than the shear stiffness on the ratio a / d = 0.8. From the experimental results of high beam with transverse tilt (BT-SM0) beam shear stiffness value of 63% greater than the value of the shear stiffness of the beam with a vertical cross bar (BT-SV0). High beam with a vertical transverse reinforcement to have a stiffness value that is smaller than the high beam with an oblique transverse reinforcement for. In the ratio a / d = 0.8 the value of the shear stiffness BT-SV1 76% smaller than the BT-SM1, the ratio a / d = 1.2 the value of the shear stiffness BT-SV1 69% smaller than the BT-SM1. High beam with a vertical cross bar with two bars for (BT-SV2) in the loading position the ratio a / d = 1.2 has a stiffness value of 51% greater than the high beam with a vertical cross bar with a reinforcement for (BT-SV1) and 59% larger from the high beam without reinforcement for vertical cross bar (BT-SV0).
