- Awareness of religion is belief in the truth of a religion which is shown by the differentiation of good, motivated dynamic religious life, carrying out religious teachings in a consistent and productive, having a comprehensive view of life and integral as well as having the spirit of searching and understanding to God. With the existence of a mature religious consciousness, the teens will make religion as the control of behavior in everyday life. For adolescents who have no religious consciousness, the less able to control their behavior and easily influenced by negative things, so not able to prevent premarital sexual behavior which is prohibited by religion. This study aims to determine the relationship between religious consciousness with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents. Samples are psychology students Muhammadiyah University of Malang force 2003, 2004, and 2005, aged 17-22 years. Randomly drawn as many as 64 subjects from the population. The sampling technique used is proportional random side. The research instrument used was a questionnaire that reveals the maturity of religious consciousness and premarital sexual behavior in the form of questions and statements are derived from existing indicators. Test the validity of the questionnaire by using the technique of internal validity is to correlate between the scores of items with total score, then the reliability test was done by using alpha cronbach. Data analysis using product moment. Results showed there were highly significant negative relationship between religious kesaradan with premarital sexual behavior in adolescents, which is shown with r = - 0.657; Sig / p = 0.000 and r2 = 0.432, meaning that the more mature religious consciousness, the lower the premarital sexual behavior and otherwise increasingly mature religious consciousness then the higher the premarital sexual behavior.
