  • The road is a means of land transportation which consists of some materials, such as coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler (filler) and bitumen. In the process of maintenance, damage sometimes occur earlier than the service one of which is caused by the water factor. This study aimed to determine the effect of immersion (water) on the properties - properties such as Marshall stability, flow on plastic, Results For Marshall and air cavities .. By using the same binder content (optimum), ie, 7:30%, made into specimens of 3 x 9 specimens (for statistical tests), which is a cylinder with volume of 1200 grams of weight. The variation of immersion time used in this study were 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24, 48, and 72 hours and for each - each variation of immersion time using 3 specimens. The results showed that there is the effect of immersion on the Marshall Stability, flow on plastic, Results For Marshall and air cavities on the nature of ATB mix. For Marshall Stability is shown by the equation: Y = -10.67 x + 2288.5. Marshall Stability is estimated to reach under the terms after the age of 172.31 hours. For the value of plastic flow, shown by the equation: Y = 7E-05x2 - 0.0291 x + 3.4923. For the results shown for Marshall equation: Y = -0.0042 X2 + 0.3556 X + 6.1448. Marshall estimated Qoutient will reach under the terms after the age of 95.5 hours. And for the air cavity is indicated by the equation: Y = 0.0006 X 2 - 0.072 X + 5.1632. The air cavity and is expected to be reached under the requirements after age 20 hours.
