- Learning disabilities can be extant as an insuffiency in one or more area academic, in specific subject like reading, writing and mathematics or calculate. The learning disabilities can be known by teacher or parent when the child fails to present one of or some ability academic. As for target in this research is to give the describe about child finding difficulties to learn. and to assist to improve the efficiency reading and writing adjacent learn by duties, can be improve of skill in reading and writing. The research type representative of research qualitative that is as procedure research yielding descriptive data in the form of words written or oral from people and behavioral perceived. The technique of data collecting in this research is observation and interview, as for this subject research that is three student of elementary school which have learning disabilities to reading and writing. This research is executed at date of 01 September 2005 until the date of 26 December 2005 in SDI Iskandar Said Surabaya. From this research result that learning disabilities cause to reading and writing influenced by own self, and environmental about namely school and family. From got data, researcher conduct the direct study in the form of adjacent learn using method of ferland and step learn. And result of from treatment conducted by see the existence of improvement in the case of efficiency read and write, others the existence of behavioural change of more subject of co-operative and motivate to learn higher.
