- Adzan Magrib as communication sign for moeslem to pray. Adzan hearing in five time everyday as like as pray time, as direct or by speaker mosque, by radio or television. Adzan Magrib in television is representation Islamic values from many life aspect. The riset purpose is understanding Islamic values which meaning beside Adzan Magrib programe of station Metro TV and ANTV. We choice sample Metro TV and ANTV because have a uniq visual and theme than the same programe in another comercial station TV. Eco (1976:8) in North (1995:326) describe semiotic definition is “studies all cultural processes as cesses of communication”. In other hand Eco (1976) said that’s semiotic concern sign production aspect than sign system. As the production meaning machine (Sobur:2006). Stephen W. LittleJohn (2005:35) said basic concept semiotic is sign, it’s define stimulus clue something different. This concept integrated theory with language, conversation, and nonverbal behavior. Lester (2000:51) Ronald Barthes describes sign which is makes picture narration. Sign in picture view by various way, it depend on production team style. For Barthes, the important is code. Society is develops by complicated code system. Individual sign combine between communication ideas in code form. Asa Berger said four kind of code: metonymic, analogic, displaced, dan condensed. The research focus of Adzan Magrib programe in station TV Metro TV, version “ Bike in forest” with 02:57 duration second. The reason is observer feel in Adzan Magrib programe in Metro TV have story way. This research use semiotic analysis that unit analysis consist. It will very focus because signs in Adzan Magrib programe have latent meaning, in visualization, setting time, and place. This research is interpretative kualitatif. Data found from recording Adzan Magrib programe by capturing proses (record) by internal TV Turner of computer. Output which found from capturing process is .avi format file, so quality of recording is good. It’s help observer in research process. After get two recording Adzan Magrib, than recording cut per-scene by format still photo. The research analyze from technique and meaning, technique involve take picture, lighting, editing, and composition. Meaning involves relation of visual with Adzan Magrib text. From two programs that’s representation Islamic values in the same, but in general programs describe akidah value (pray) and tauhid (God). Metro TV and ANTV package and present visual by different way. Metro TV package programe by story way, and ANTV just clip-clip of picture. The result is known in technique have mistake of setting place and lighting in Metro TV programe. ANTV in technique view freak in setting place, editing and composition. Two Adzan Magrib programs view visualization which not match Islamic values, so the worst that heterogen audience bias in interpreted Adzan.
