  • Background of the study: Diabetes Mellitus has increased very fast. Moreover, type 2 Diabetes is the more common type. If your sugar blood levels are too high, complications might happen. One of diabetes complications happened to the patient is diabetic foot. Objective of the study: To identify the relationship of HbA1C levels and diabetic foot to the type 2 diabetes patiens. Research Methodology: Data used in this study were the results from medical records and laboratory research. Then, the data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and reported in a form of distribution of frequency table. The relationship of HbA1C levels and diabetic foot to the type 2 diabetes patient was tested by using Chi­Square test. Results of the study: First, most of the type 2 diabetes patients in Lavalette Hospital have the worst blood sugar levels (72.3%). Second, they do not have diabetic foot problem (50.8%).Based on the test done by Chi­Square (p=0,003) showed that the relationship of HbA1C and diabetic foot to the type 2 diabetes patiens have significant relationship (p<0.05). Conclusions: The better the sugar blood levels of the type 2 diabetes patiens the lower possibility of the diabetic foot they get.
