- This research is descriptive qualitative with title “The Analysis of CAMELS as instrument for assess health level of Bank Syariah in PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia”. The purpose of research is to know the level of Bank Muamalat Indonesia from analysis of CAMELS. The instrument to use in this research is the analysis of CAMELS. To know the health level of bank with carry out assesses and ranks determining aspect capitall, asset, management, earning, liquiditiy, and sensitivity to market by virtue of official bank Indonesia No.9/1/PBI/2007 January 24, 2007 about how to try assessment health of the public bank by virtue of syariah principle. From the result ascertainable during a period the research in 2003 until 2007 the health level of BMI is stable. The generally in period 2003-2007 Bank Muamalat Indonesia enter in the category of 1 level composite so Bank and UUS included very good or health and can filter the negative effect of the condition economic and financial industry. On the strength of the result, the writer can give suggestion about Bank Muamalat Indonesia need increase the effort strategy to support the success of BMI, is with watch and play the game from authority of perbankan. For example: consolidate structure of obligation the act of preparing minimum health financial, determine effective of production sharing, defend health of level Non Performing Financial and apply management proactive risk.
