  • Computer network technology today becomes an important thing in doing activities in a company. The growing number of users, technology development and the number of devices, impact on the need for better network quality. In addition, interference on network devices may also affect service quality. Therefore, network managers must be able to provide the convenience of network users with the selection of appropriate methods.Network settings with the OSPF routing protocol can provide good performance when network changes occur, and are independent of certain types of network devices. In addition, the use of MPLS technology with the switching labeling mechanism can also be applied to provide better quality. OSPF and MPLS routing protocols can provide fast convergence times.Testing is done by granting network load engineering as well as interruption of router gradually termination up to 4 node router. The results show that MPLS routing protocol performance is superior to OSPF routing in testing of delay, throughput and jitter of UDP and TCP data testing, but worse performance in packet loss and convergence time testing of terminal termination termination conditions.
