Although it has no broad leaves but angsana has compound leaves with enough dense canopy that is expected to be agents for the bioremediation of pollutans, especially metals Pb. This research aims to determine the potential of plants angsana to absorb and accumulate heavy metals Pb, also to know the structure of the leaf angsana related to its function as a roadside plant. The method used is descriptive that is observations directly to the field with determine the 3 research sites namely A. Yani street, Belitung street and Kapten Tendean street. From each street is selected 5 angsana tree. Leaf samples taken from each tree for its Pb content was analyzed using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometery) and total chlorophyll were analyzed using aspectrophotometer (UV-vis). Measured leaf structure includes leaf area and number of stomata. The results showed that the leaf angsana growing at A.Yani street Belitung street and Kapten Tendean street undetectable levels of Pb metal, while the total amount of chlorophyll ranged 70.4673 mg/l - 93.9153 mg / l.The structure of leaf surface angsana slippery, with leaf area ranged from 255.72cm2-314.41 cm2 and the number of stomata ranged from 304 pieces -384 pieces.
