- ABSTRACT Teaching materials are a complete package consisting of a series of learning activities that are systematically arranged in language that is easily understood by students so that they can be studied independently. Based on the results of the preliminary study, it is known that students have difficulty understanding the material if they only use printed books, so it is necessary to develop special teaching materials to help the student learning process. This study aims to determine how the process of developing teaching materials so that they are declared valid, feasible, and interesting as a medium for learning mathematics. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model from Thiagarajan which consists of 4 steps, namely: define (definition), design (design), develop (development), and disseminate (dissemination). The subjects of this study were students of UIN Raden Intan who had taught calculus 1 courses. The research instruments used were a material and media expert validator questionnaire, student interest response questionnaire and documentation. The results of the validation of material experts, religious and environmental experts and media experts obtained a score of 3.53, 3.90 and 3.65 with the "feasible" criteria, the product trial results obtained a score of 3.52 with the "very interesting" criteria. The conclusion is that calculus teaching materials are oriented towards Islamic values and environmentally sound with an open ended approach that is declared valid, feasible, and attractive as a medium for learning mathematics.
