  • PTCA is the most effective action in the treatment of coronary heart disease with the goal of revascularization, PTCA performed when the action faster then the more heart muscle is saved. Immobilization after PTCA prevent hematoma. The study aims to Effectiveness Health Education in the Patient Adherence Immobilization Post percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty in ICCU Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with Non approach Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample was mostly post-PTCA patients were treated at the Sanglah Hospital ICCU without complications and cooperative. The independent variables were health education. Dependent variable was compliance immobilization. Data collection tool using observation sheets and leaflets. The data analysis technique used is the Chi Square test. The results showed as many as 90% of patients post-PTCA who received health education adherent to immobilization. Post-PTCA patients who were not given health education by 80% also dutifully perform immobilization. Chi Square test results demonstrate ineffective health education on adherence immobilization in patients post-PTCA in Space ICCU Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar (p = 0.531> α = 0,05). Patients who received and patients who do not receive health education is almost entirely obedient conduct post-PTCA immobilization.
