- Environment is one of the factors that play a role in the onset of disease history. Therefore, knowledge about aspects of sanitation (sanitation) environment plays an important role in each health efforts, both individually and in groups in society. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors associated with the use of latrines in the area of the River Plate in the village Laladan Deket District of Lamongan. This study design is analytic cross sectional correlational approach. Variables consist of Knowledge, attitudes, latrine conditions, the role of community leaders while Variable Depending is the use of latrines. Used as a sample of 180 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires. Data Analysis using Logistic Regeresi Analysis.Based on the analysis concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge and use of latrines (p = 0.014) in the community in the area of the River Plate in the village Laladan Deket District of Lamongan. There was a relationship between attitudes to the use of latrines (p = 0.002). There was a relationship between the use of latrines Latrine condition (p = 0.000). There was a relationship between the use of latrines Prominent Role (p = 0.045). So the proposed hypothesis is accepted. More health workers should enable health promotion activities related to the issue of clean and healthy behavior, especially in the procurement and use of latrines healthy
