  • The obyectives of experiment were the effect of drying on the germination of red pepper (Copsicum annum L.). The experiment was conducted at field laboratory Faculty of Agriculture UNTAG 1945 Samarinda on March until June 2005. The experiment design used was factorial experiment 2 x 2 arranged in Completely Randomized Design with four replications. The first factor was ,drying (D) namely: room drying (dl) and sun drying (d2). The second factor was drying period (P) namely: I days (pl) and 7 days (p2). The result showed that the drying and drying period was affected significants on the germinations.
