- The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of guided discovery teaching methods can improve learning outcomes dribble through guided discovery method of SMP Perguruan Karya Bunda Medan Estate. This study used quantitative research methods (value student learning outcomes) that can be analyzed descriptively. In this case the researchers used a descriptive statistical analysis. For example, searching for the mean value, the percentage of successful learning. the result of this research is the application of guided discovery method can improve the process of learning to dribble with the feet on the inside of the football game of SMP Perguruan Karya Bunda Medan Estate 2012/2013. The first cycle, the observation of the initial capability of 30 students less than satisfactory, as evidenced by the results of the first tests of students not achieving mastery learning that 16 people (53.33%), achieving mastery learning only 14 people (46.67 %). cycle II runs better, there were 26 students (86.67 %) achieved a passing grade, while 4 students (13.33 %) have not reached mastery learning. when compared cycle i (62.25%) in cycle III increased to 70.25 % (completed).Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana metode mengajar penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar menggiring bola melalui metode penemuan terbimbing SMP Perguruan Karya Bunda Medan Estate. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif (nilai hasil belajar siswa) yang dapat dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dalam hal ini peneliti menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Misalnya, mencari nilai rerata, presentase keberhasilan belajar. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran menggiring bola dengan kaki bagian dalam pada permainan sepak bola siswa SMP Perguruan Karya Bunda Medan Estate T.A 2012/2013. Siklus I, hasil observasi kemampuan awal dari 30 siswa kurang memuaskan, terbukti dengan hasil tes pertama siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar yaitu 16 orang (53,33%), mencapai ketuntasan belajar hanya 14 orang (46,67%). Siklus II berjalan lebih baik, terdapat 26 siswa (86,67%) mencapai ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan 4 siswa (13,33%) belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Jika dibandingkan Siklus I (62,25%) pada Siklus II meningkat menjadi 70,25% (selesai).Kata kunci: hasil belajar, menggiring bola, metode penemuan terbimbing
