- Rendahnya hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh metode yang digunakan guru dalam proses belajar mengajar. Oleh karena itu, maka diperlukan metode atau model pembelajaran yang tepat guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe take and give untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa siswa kelas XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 1 Way Tenong. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe take and give, hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 55,88% menjadi 82,35%.The low of students' learning outcome is strongly influenced by the method used by teachers in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a method or appropriate learning model to improve students' learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model take and give type to improve students' learning outcomes of class XI IPS2 SMA Negeri 1 Way Tenong. The method used in the study was a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that by implementing cooperative learning model take and give type, students' learning outcomes has improved from 55.88% to 82.35%.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, pembelajaran kooperatif, tipe take and give.
