MODEL STEAM TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOLABORASI DAN KREATIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the collaboration and creativity abilities of students using the STEAM model. This study uses a pre- experimental method with a one-group pretest posttest design. This research was conducted in one of the senior high schools (SMA) in Sukabumi Regency. The subjects in this study were class XII MIPA 2 with 32 participants. The instrument used was a Likert scale statement questionnaire on 4 answer scales. The statements consist 13 statements for collaboration and 14 statements for creativity. This questionnaire was given to students before and after learning the concept of biotechnology. The resul showed that average N-Gain for collaborative indicators are 0.30-0.55 with a moderate improvement category, and on creativity abilities with an average N-Gain score per indicator that is 0.31- 0.60 with the moderate improvements. As well as on the average results of the overall N-Gain score for collaboration, which is 0.45 in the moderate improvement category, and for creativity with an N-Gain score of 0.47 in the medium category. From the research data, it can be concluded that the collaboration and creativity abilities of students in learning using the STEAM model are included in the moderate improvement category.
