  • Gout Arthritis is a disease caused by the accumulation of monosodium urate crystals in the body which can be caused by several factors, One of them is an uncontrolled diet and often consume foods that contain high purines which result in increased uric acid levels in the blood. The impact of gout is the occurrence of pain and swelling in the joints. Management using non-pharmacological therapies suggested, among others, is isometric exercises that aim to increase joint mobility, reduce pain and burn the buildup of uric acid in the joints. The purpose of this study is to help reduce pain and provide health education. This research method uses a case study with a family nursing care approach. Results and Discussion: Nursing diagnosis of acute pain that occurred to Mrs. D after the implementation, the client did not seem anxious, the pain scale decreased, the relapse time was reduced, the client knew how to control and cope with pain. the problem is resolved and the intervention is stopped, with cooperative cooperation and the client's willingness to recover or not feel pain anymore.
