  • Development is the process of maturation of organs, especially the nervous system in children, such as gross movements and fine movements. Various child development problems, such as language delays, hyperactivity, motor skills in recent years have increased, the incidence in the world, in America, child development ranges from 12-16% in the United States, 24% in Thailand, and 22% in Argentina and 13-18% in Indonesia. In addition, almost 30% of children in West Java in 2020 experienced developmental delays. Looking at the numbers from these data, it is necessary to detect early and stimulate exercise in children to prevent developmental disorders. If this problem is not addressed, the child will continue to experience developmental disorders as he grows up. The purpose of this case study is to treat children at risk for impaired fine motor development with playdough play therapy. This research method is done by means of observation and interviews. The implementation participants were 1, namely children aged 5 years who were at risk of developmental disorders. The action taken is playdough play therapy for 1 hour 6 days in a row every 10.00 WIB. The results showed that clients who initially could not form playdough neatly eventually became able to. Based on these results, it can be concluded that playdough play therapy can overcome the risk of developmental disorders. Suggestions from this paper playdough play therapy can be used as therapy in dealing with problems with fine motor development disorders in children.
