  • COMPARISON ANALYSIS OF THE CIBUNI RIVER'S DEPOSIT USING THE F.J MOCK METHOD AND THE NRECA METHOD FOR MHP WATER NEEDS. Dede Ariswandi. 1630121004 In a hydroelectric power plant planning, important factors that must be known are: the amount of monthly discharge and mainstay discharge, as well as the topography of the drainage area. To calculate the amount of water availability in the Cibuni watershed for the needs of MHP, the F.J Mcok method and the Nreca method of discharge analysis are used and the amount of potential evapotranspiration using the Penman method. Rainfall data used is rainfall data obtained from 5 rain stations in the form of monthly rainfall for 16 years from 1996-2011. From the results of the calculation of the F.J Mock method for the availability of water in the Cibuni watershed, the maximum discharge is 28.46 m3/sec and the minimum water discharge is 0.11 m3/sec. As for the Nreca method, the maximum water discharge is 26.50 m3/s and the minimum water discharge is 2.77 m3/s. Based on the calculation results, the F.J Mock method is more suitable for use in the Cibuni watershed compared to Nreca.
