  • Pulmonary tuberculosis is the accumulation or accumulation of secretions in the upper respiratory tract, this occurs because bacteria damage the lung parenchyma area causing an inflammatory reaction, namely excessive production of secretions that can cause respiratory problems due to airway obstruction so that the problem of ineffective airway clearance arises. and will cause complications, including: pleurisy, pleural effusion, empyema, laryngitis, bowel, poncet's arthropathy, airway obstruction to adult respiratory failure syndrome (ARDS). It is known that there is an effect of effective application of chest physiotherapy and cough on Mr. R on the ineffectiveness of airway clearance in tuberculosis in the working area of the Ciranjang Public Health Center. Chest physiotherapy and effective cough were given 2 times a day for 3 days in the morning and evening. With effective chest physiotherapy and coughing, the respiratory rate became normal and was able to expel sputum. There is an effect of giving an effective chest physiotherapy application and coughing on the ineffectiveness of airway clearance in tuberculosis.
