- Hallucinations are perceptions that arise after seeing, hearing, touching, tasting or smelling something that is not really real. The purpose of this study is to apply occupational therapy to daily activities to change the symptoms of auditory hallucinations. The method in this scientific paper is a case study with the provision of occupational therapy for daily activities. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing and observing. The results of the interference showed a decrease in the level of hallucinations after being given occupational therapy of daily activities with a score of 27 to 33 as measured by observational research instruments. It can be concluded that the administration of occupational therapy in daily activities has an effect on changes in hallucinatory symptoms experienced by schizophrenic patients with auditory hallucinations. The conclusion of this paper is that the administration of occupational therapy in daily activities can reduce the level of auditory hallucinations. Occupational therapy of daily activities is effective in reducing the level of hallucinations and this therapy can be an alternative for someone who has impaired sensory perception of auditory hallucinations that often interfere.
