  • Bronchial asthma is a health problem that is often found in the community and has a high morbidity and mortality rate. It is currently estimated that as many as 235 million people suffer from bronchial asthma in the world (WHO, 2017). The purpose of this scientific paper is to apply therapies that can be given to patients who have asthma. Bronchial asthma is a chronic respiratory disease. This condition is caused by inflammation of the airways that causes bronchial hypersensitivity to stimuli and obstruction of the airways. Clinical symptoms of asthma that usually appear in the form of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest pain and cough that vary from time to time with limited expiratory airflow. These symptoms will usually worsen at night, when exposed to allergens (such as dust, cigarette smoke) or when you are experiencing an illness such as a fever. In the assessment stage that has been carried out, the patient has shortness of breath caused by asthma. Mr. A has a problem with ineffective breathing patterns. The action given is deep breathing relaxation. The conclusion from the action given is that it has been achieved where the client has been able to streamline the breathing pattern by practicing deep breathing relaxation techniques.
