- This research aims to develop educational game products in the form of instructional media to improve the reading skills of the students in elementary school. This media will help students be more enthusiastic and active during the learning process. This research and development uses the Borg and Gall research design. The subjects of this study were material experts, media experts, practitioners and grade 3 elementary school students. The results of this study include product feasibility tests, student response tests, and results of students' reading aloud reading skills with data collection techniques using interview sheets, questionnaire sheets and test sheets. The aspects assessed in the validation of product feasibility and student responses are the content eligibility component, intrusional component, and technical component. After conducting the feasibility test, the SMG media had a maximum score percentage of 50 while the score for the content worthiness component was 42.25 with very good criteria, intrusive components 45 with very good criteria, and technical components 46.25 with very good criteria. Student responses have a maximum percentage score of 50 while the score component content eligibility is 4.3 with very good criteria, intrusive components 4.54 with very good criteria, and the technical component is 4.68 with very good criteria. On the results of learning the students' reading skills aloud there was an increase in trial 1 with a gain score of 0.4 with a moderate increase category and trial 2 with a gain score of 0.3 with a moderate increase category.
