- This study discusses the level skills of Service Forehand and Service Backhand on Short Service in Badminton Game in extracurricular SMAN 1 Kota Sukabumi. From the results of observations of researchers in extracurricular SMAN 1 Kota Sukabumi in short service there are using forehand and some are using backhand and both are still not good. It is seen at the time of the game, his service is not on target (not entered). Students are still not good in short forehand and backhand service. This research uses survey method with quantitative type and data collection using test. Sebjek this research is the students extracurricular badminton in SMAN 1Sukabumicity which amounted to 20 people. In this study the researchers used the technique of saturated samples because the sample of research amounted to less than 30 people. This research instrument uses a short service test that has a validity level of 0.66, and reliability of 0.51 to 0.96. The data of this study were analyzed by first looking for mean, standard deviation (simpanganbaku), ujinormalitas data, homogeneity test, and the last hypothesis (T test) by using descriptive statistic at 5% significant level (α = 0,05). Based on the results of this research data analysis shows there is a difference between Forehand and Backhand Against Short Service in Badminton Game in extracurricular SMAN 1 Sukabumi city. This is evidenced by Thitung>Ttabel = = 31,48> 1,734. Thus Forehand and Backhand Against Short Service in Badminton Game in extracurricular SMAN 1 Sukabumi city H0 rejected, H1 accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a difference between Forehand and Backhand Against Short Service in Badminton Game in extracurricular SMAN 1 Sukabumi city
