- To identify the relationship between the roles of the parents with the readiness of elementary school students grade V and VI to deal with menarche, this Cross Sectional research was being conducted toward 42 students at Adisucipto Elementary School, Yogyakarta, From May 2008 until Juli 2008. The result using Kendall’s Tau statistical test, indicated that there was a weak relationship between the role of parents and the readiness of elementary school students grade V and VI to be aware of menarche.
