- The purpose of the research are: 1) To find out how the process of using smartphone in learning English during pandemic. 2) To find out the advantages and disadvantages of using smartphone applications in Learning English during pandemic. This research was conducted in MTsN 1 Majalengka. This research used a qualitative research with Descriptive Qualitative. The researcher conducted the observations, documentation, and interview with English teacher and 3 students to get the data. Then, the data would be analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing technique. Based on the result of the research, the researcher found that could be summarized as follows: 1) The learning process consist of 3 stages, namely Pre-teaching, Whilst-teaching and Post-teaching. 2) Application that used are Whatsapp, E-learning (LMS), and Youtube. 3) Whatsapp application give maximal result and easy to use.4) E-learning is not more concise because not all students understand how to use the E�learning. 5) Youtube is not interactive because the teacher didn’t held Youtube live.
