- The development of technology is developing rapidly. Particularly in telecommunications. One of the example telecommunication technology is satellite technology. By using satellite transmission is able to communicate without the distance constrained because the satellite is able to cover even the remotest areas. But apart from this, the satellite communication is also still no disruption that often occurs. One of them is the weather factor. Poor weather satellite is able to make a connection to be down. For example case in Sijunjung that monitored from PT. Metrasat Bogor that a connection be down when the weather is bad. To handle this, PT. Metrasat Bogor provide NOC team as service or complaints from customers who are experiencing problems. The NOC team will open ticket so the customers can fill out a complaint form an open ticket. After that, NOC metra will dispatch a technician to the location of interruption to correct the trouble. In the case of Sijunjung, link vipersat experience down suddenly and after checking, it was found the source problem, the modem device was not used or damaged. As for troubleshooting undertaken include a modem device is replaced with a new device, the checking IDU and ODU, Configure modem vipersat accordance with the provisions, and checking the carrier.
