- This study aims to explain the influence of religiosity, social support and sense of humor on death anxiety in people with HIV-AIDS (PLWHA). This study uses a quantitative approach. Data were collected using a scale that measures the variables death anxiety, religiosity, social support, and a sense of humor. Quantitative research with multiple regression analysis involving 120 people with HIV-AIDS (PLWHA) in Yayasan Pelita Ilmu, and use non-probability sampling. The results showed that there was influence together of religiosity, social support (significant other, family, friends) and a sense of humor (production and social use of humor, adaptive humor, humor appreciation, attitudes toward humor) to the death anxiety by contribute 32.7% of the variability of death anxiety. As for which a significant effect on death anxiety only variable support from friends of social support variables, as well as adaptive humor and attitudes toward humor of the sense of humor variables. The researcher hopes that the implications of these results can be reviewed and may be developed in future studies. For example, by adding other independent variables that may have a major influence on the death anxiety in people with HIV-AIDS (PLWHA).
