- This study aims to analyze the level of health in Sharia banks in Indonesia through a risk-based approach. This approach assesses the health of sharia banks on four factors, those are risk profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), earning, and capital. This research was conducted on quantitative descriptive method. The data used derived from secondary data published on the official website of Sharia commercial banks. Based on the analysis of the processed data, a composite rating is generated to illustrated the health level of a Sharia bank. PK-1 means Sharia Bank declared very healthy and PK-5 means Sharia Bank declared unhealthy. From the results of the sample assessment show that the average level of health of Sharia banks in Indonesia declared healthy. None of Sharia commercial banks in Indonesia in the period 2015-2017 which declared unhealthy. The best Sharia bank health rating in the period of 2015-2017 is Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) which successively get PK-2, PK-1 and PK-1. The last rank is occupied by Bank Muamalat Indonesia, which always get PK-3 in the period of 2015-2017.
