A Thesis: English Letters Department, Letters and Humanities Faculty, State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, 2017. This research focuses on the analysis of the translation techniques of business terminology in the Agreement for Exchange of Confidential Information document translated by translator. The main objective of this analysis is to finding the technique used to translate business terminology in the Agreement for Exchange of Confidential Information by focuses on two matters. The first in the translation technique used by translator and the second is the effect of translation technique applied in the Agreement for Exchange of Confidential Information document. The method of this research is qualitative method by using Molina and Albir‟s theories about translation technique. From thirtheen selected data in this research, there are found three data that is categorized as transposition, one data as amplification, three data as borrowing, one data as variation, one data as calque, two data as literal and two data categorized as reduction. The translation result of using those technique is success to the target language. The message still conveyed properly even though there is data translated literally.
