- This research aims to observe and analyse the socialist feminist issue in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) movie. By using qualitative method and descriptive analysis technique, this research explains how the movie shows the socialist feminist ideology through the description of the women around Immortan Joe and the oppression and exploitation toward them. Immortan Joe, the male character, oppresses and exploits the women around him. They are the five wives of Immortan Joe, Imperator Furiosa, and the Milking Mothers. The name of the five wives gives the characterization to them, such as intilegent, briliant, brave, will to escape from male oppression, and weak. The analysis of Furiosa shows that she is brave, independet, and masculine person. Furthermore, the analysis of the Milking Mothers shows that they are used by Immortan Joe to produce milk. The data of this research shows that Immortan Joe becomes a symbol for the capitalist patriarchy. By the end of the film, Immortan Joe is killed by Furiosa and that event shows that the capitalist patriarchy system is vanished in Citadel, the place where Immortan Joe rules and at the same time the oppression and the exploitation to the women around him is also vanished. Finally this movie reflects socialist feminist ideology by creating the equality between men and women
