  • This study aimed to determine the effect of problem-based learning model to the scientific attitude of students on the concept electrolyte and non-electrolytes solution. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with randomized posttest-only design. The sample was X.1 class (experiment class) and X.2 (control class) at SMA Darussalam Ciputatin the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016. This research was conducted in May 2015. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire compiled by Likert scale. Data scientific attitude of learners who obtained percentages are calculated and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the average percentage of achievement of the scientific attitude of students in the experiment class amounted to 83.85% are very high, whereas in the control class is only obtained for 56.85% and includes category enough. It is concluded that the problem-based learning on the concept electrolytes and non-electrolytes affect the increased scientific attitude of students.
