- The main objective of this analysis is to analyze transposition of Sony Ericsson K750i User Manual from English into Indonesian. In doing this research, he makes notes to find the differences and compares them certainly transposition analysis in the Sony Ericsson K750i User Manual. Then, he makes conclusion that transposition is a procedure involving change in the grammar from the source language text to the target language text. In this research, the writer uses qualitative descriptive method. The writer reads the user manual and then analyzes and identifies transposition forms which appear in Sony Ericsson K750i User Manual. In the analysis of transposition in Sony Ericsson K750i User Manual, it appears that the transposition used mostly to replace one word class with another word class and to compare the source language structure and the target language structures. From the result of analysis, the writer found the first shift (singular – plural; adjective + noun – noun + adjective); the second shift (the grammatical of source language structure is not in the target language structure); third shift (noun + adjective – noun + clause;adjective + noun – noun + noun) and the fourth shift (the replacement of a verbal lexical gap in Bahasa Indonesia).
