- ABSTRAK Nama : Nida Ghania Lidinilla Program Studi : Farmasi Judul : Uji Aktivitas Ekstrak Etanol 70% Daun Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steenis) Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Asam Urat dalam Darah Tikus Putih Jantan yang Diinduksi dengan Kafeina Secara empiris daun binahong dapat menyembuhkan berbagai jenis penyakit, salah satu penyakit yang dapat disembuhkan adalah menurunkan kadar asam urat. Telah diketahui bahwa daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten) Steenis) mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin dan polifenol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek ekstrak etanol 70% Daun Binahong dalam menurunkan kadar asam urat darah pada tikus. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode induksi kafein secara intraperitoneal dengan dosis 3mg/200 gBB. Penelitian ini dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok yaitu kelompok normal I (kontrol normal) tanpa perlakuan, kelompok II (kontrol negatif) yang hanya diinduksikan kafein, kelompok III (kontrol pembanding) diberikan allopurinol, kelompok IV dosis rendah (50mg/kgBB), kelompok V dosis sedang (100mg/kgBB) dan kelompok VI dosis tinggi (200mg/kgBB) ekstrak daun binahong. Obat yang digunakan adalah allopurinol sebagai pembanding dari ekstrak etanol 70% daun binahong. Pengukuran kadar asam urat darah dilakukan pemberian ekstrak dan sesudah pemberian ekstrak pada hari ke 9, 12 dan 15. Pada dosis 200mg/kgBB menunjukkan efek penurunan kadar asam urat tertinggi dengan persentase sebesar 91,83%. Dengan uji statistik ANOVA dan BNT menunjukkan kelompok kontrol pembanding dan ekstrak uji dosis tinggi tidak ada perbedaan secara bermakna (P ≥ 0,05) dengan kelompok normal. ABSTRACT Name : Nida Ghania Lidinilla Program Study : Pharmacy Title : Activities Test of Binahong Leaves Ethanol 70% Extract to Decrease Blood Uric Acid Levels in White Male Rat Induced by Caffeine Empirically, binahong leaves could heal various diseases, one of the effication is lowering uric acid levels . It is known that Binahong leaves ( Anredera cordifolia ( Ten ) Steenis ) contain alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins and polyphenols. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of 70 % ethanol extract of leaves Binahong in lowering blood uric acid levels in rats. This research was conducted using caffeine induced method intraperitionally with a dose of 3 mg / 200kg BW. This study was divided into 6 groups; normal group I (normal control) without treatment, group II (negative control) was induced by caffeine only, group III (comparative control) was given allopurinol, group IV was treated with low dose (50 mg / kg BW), group V medium dose (100 mg/ kg BW), group VI high dose (200mg/kg BW) of binahong leaves extract. Allopurinol was used as drug comparison to 70% ethanol extract of binahong leaves. The measurement of blood uric acid levels was done before the controls were given extract and after on the ninth, twelfth, fifteenth day. The dose of 200 mg/kg showed the highest decline in blood uric acid level with a percentage of 91.83%. The result of ANOVA and BNT statistic assays showed an insignificant difference between comparative control, high dose induced control, and normal control (P ≥ 0,05).
