Daftar Isi:
- A 42 year old male admitted to our hospital with abrupt onset of dyspnea one day before admission, dyspnea on exertion and orthopnea. Other symptoms were cough with blood-streaked sputum and chest pain. On physical examination there were signs of pulmonary hypertension. Chest X-Ray showed a space occupying lession (SOL) in the right hilus which was differential diagnosed with enlarged vascular structure and consolidated pneumonia of the left lower lung. To confirm the diagnosis chest MSCT scan with contrast was performed. The result shows pulmonary artery aneurysm with hypoechoic mural thrombus and signs of pulmonary emboli in left inferior lobe. This patient was treated with low molecular weight heparin (enoxaparin) for pulmonary emboli. For further treatment we planned a surgical therapy, but the patient felt better after five days of treatment. Keywords: pulmonary artery aneurysm, pulmonary hypertension, mural thrombus, pulmonaryemboli
