- ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R & D. Yakni penggunaan metode penelitian untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk tertentu kemudian mengujikan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tujuan, yakni : Mengembangkan materi untuk keahlian membaca secara sempurna bagi siswa kelas satu SMAN 8 Malang dan mengetahui sejauh mana efektifitas penggunaan pengembangan materi ajar tersebut. Adapun sampel penelitian ini adalah 33 siswa kelas satu tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Sedangkan instrument-nya adalah wawancara, angket dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian: bahwa materi yang dikembangkan untuk keahlian membaca ini adalah kata ganti kepemilikan, kewarganegaraan, kata ganti orang, bilangan, kata tunjuk, kata sandaran, kata tempat, dan bilangan berurutan. Dan setelah diaplikasikan dalam pengajaran, peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa materi tersebut memiliki efektivitas. Adapun saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya : agar para peneliti yang lain memanfaatkan judul penelitian ini dengan menggunakan sumber-sumber yang lain untuk dikembangkan. ABSTRACT This research use R & D method. A research method for producing a certain product and then testing the effectiveness. This research has several objectives. They are :developing materials for reading skill perfectly for the first grader students of SMA Negeri 8 Malang and determine the extension of the effectiveness of the use of the teaching material development. The sample of the research was 33 first grader students academic year 2011/2012. While the instruments are interview, questionare and test. The result of the study are : the materials that are developed for the reading skill consists dhomir al-Milkiyah, al-Jinsiyyah, ad-Dhomair, al-Adad, isim isyarah, al-Idhofaah, dhorof makan, and al-Adad at-Tartibi. And when they are applied in teaching process, the researcher concluded that the materials have the effectiveness. The suggestions for the next researchs : other researchers can use title using other sources to be developed.
