- INDONESIA: Konsep diri merupakan sesuatu hal yang penting bagi anak yang memasuki fase remaja khususnya pada kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) yang tengah mengalami dase krisis identitas. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh perhatian guru terhadap konsep diri siswa di MTs Ma’arif NU 2 Sutojayan Blitar. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode Kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah siswa-siswi MTs Ma’arif NU 2 Sutojayan Blitar yang berjumlah 720 subjek. Teknik pengambilan sample ialah random sampling sejumlah 115 siswa. Skala dari variabel Perhatian Guru diambil dari penelitian yang dilakukan Kumara (2002), dan skala Konsep diri dari penelitian Hendiarti Agustin (2006). Analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan SPSS Statistics 20 for windows. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh regresi R2 sebesar 0,343. Artinya, pengaruh variabel Perhatian Guru terhadap Konsep Diri siswa sebesar 34,3% maka dari itu hasil uji regresi diatas menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh perhatian guru terhadap konsep diri siswa. Meski memiliki prosentase yang tidak cukup besar tetapi dari segi signifikasi memiliki nilai yang tinggi yakni 0,000. Dengan signifikasi demikian maka besaran hasilnya di bawah 0,05 sehingga hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. ENGLISH: Self-concept is important thing for children who get into adolescent phase, especially among students of junior high school who are experiencing the phase of identity crisis. The purpose of this study was to understand the influence of teacher’s attention against students' self-concept in MTs Ma’arif NU 2 Sutojayan Blitar. The method used was quantitative method. Total population in this study was 720 subjects that consisted of students of MTs Ma’arif NU 2 Sutojayan Blitar. Sampling technique was conducted by using random sampling technique with total sample of 115 students. Variable scale of teacher’s attention adapted from study that conducted by Kumara (2002), and variable scale of self-concept adapted from study of Hendiarti Agustin (2006). Analysis in this study used SPSS Statistics 20 for windows. Obtained data was analyzed by using simple regression analyzes. Based on the analyzes result, obtained regression R2 in the amount of 0.343. it meant, the influence of teacher’s attention variable against students’ self-concept was 34.3%. Therefore, according to the result of regression test above shown that there was influence of teacher’s attention against students’ self-concept. Even though the percentage was not large enough, but in term of significance it had high value of 0.000. According to the significance result, shown that significance result was less than 0.05, thus, the hypothesis of this study was accepted.
