To achieve that goal, the company has to increase its performance by managing its business activities effectively, efficiently and economically. The business activities exist from supply and demand transactions.&#xD; Based on the data from WINA (World Instant Noodle Assiciation), the instant noodle industry in Indonesia continuously has an increasing demand every year, but PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur TBK as the market leader in the instant noodle market; experienced a selling decrease for 0.5% and a market share decrease for 0.2% in the year 2013 to 2014. To achieve the main objective of the company which is to maximize profit, the value chain must be increased as well.&#xD; The objective of this study is to identify the determining factors of value chain and its priorities in achieving the maximum profit in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Instant Noodle Division.&#xD; This study uses exploratory method with the elements of value chain in the company. The researched dimensions are inbound logistic, operation, outbond logistic, marketing &amp; sales, service, firm infrastructure, human resources management, technology development and procurement. From the examined dimension, 35 items were resulted; and they became the benchmark of the statements in the questionnare. The primary data sample of this study was obtained from 90 perpetrators of supply chain activity in the company by using convenience sampling method. The survey was conducted in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Instant Noodle Division. The focus survey area is in Jakarta Branch, Cibitung Branch and Bandung Branch. The study uses four modified likert scale, transformed into interval scale. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was used to discover the factors that determine the company&#x201F;s value chain.&#xD; From the nine factors of value chain processed by CFA Analysis Factor, three factors are resulted; which determine the company&#x201F;s value chain. They are operation factor, outbond logistic factor and service factor.
