- The purpose of this study was to craft a strategic architecture for CV Asa Agro Corporation (CV AAC). The current main business of the company is producing a fresh mushroom and substrate medium (which is called ‘baglog’). The data were collected from both external practitioners or expert respondents and also internal respondents based on purposive sampling and using a Delphy method. The data were collected through field observation, interviews, submit questioners and FGD (Focused Group Discussion).The study using three phase approaches. First phase was to analysis business environment to identify company strength, weakness, opportunity and threat and also stakeholder’s expectation. In the other word, the purpose of first phase was to understand company current condition. The result consist of three category, which were the external business environment (PESTE and industry competition analysis), the internal business environment (functional management analysis, company strength and weakness, core competence) and the company shareholder’s expectation. Based on PESTE analysis, company’s ability to respond the external business environment changes was beyond average and while competition in their current industry was still in average level based on Porter industry competition analysis. Based on internal business environment audit, the company internal factor was quite strong. While based on core competence analysis, company currently had three core competence which are research (innovation) competence, having a unique and more efficient method in cultivation and last was having a strong competence in building long term relationship especially with their consumers. The second phase was to identify the industry foresight and company future expectation (vision/mission and strategic intent) through discussion in FGD. The results of industry foresight discussion is a integrated industries among cultivation, agroindustri and agroservice while a new vision is to become a well-known agribusiness company in Indonesia through innovation, distinctive competence and excellent products and services. The strategic intent is to be a benchmarking of the most innovative agribusiness company in Indonesia by year 2020. Finally, the third phase was to craft a strategic architecture of CV AAC which transformed company from the mushroom cultivation company to agribusiness company which included cultivation business, agroindustry and agroservice sector within 10 years period (year 2011 to year 2020).
