  • The result of the data indicated that there was a significance difference between students’ post-test in experimental class and controlled class. The mean score of post-test (79.03) in experimental class was greater than the mean score of post-test (56.73) in controlled class. The standard deviation score of post-test (13.03) in experimental class was greater than the standard deviation score of post-test (15.76)in controlled class. From t-test, the researcher found that the value of t-test (5.734) was greater than t-table (2.009) at the level of significance 0.05 degree of freedom (df) = 57. Based on the finding and discussion of the research, the researcher drawn a conclusion that teaching English by using Islamic English video song is effective to improve the students’ vocabulary mastery at MTsN Balang-Balang Gowa. Therefore, it is advisable that the English teachers apply or implement Islamic English video song in teaching vocabulary to the students, especially the Muslim students.
