- This research discussed about Football Fanaticism Portrayed in Lexi Alexander’s Movie “Green Street Hooligans” which aimed to describe the characteristics of fanaticism in literary works like movie. This research focused on Marimaa’s theory of fanaticism characteristics in the movie. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method. The researcher used note taking as the instrument to find out valid data. This research was conducted in order to give beneficial things toward society, especially for those who want to know more about fanaticism so that they can know more about the fanaticism itself. The findings showed that there were 15 extracts found related to 5 kinds of Marimaa’s fanaticism characteristics theory. The researcher concluded that Marimaa’s theory is very suitable to describe about the characteristics of fanaticism in the “Green Street Hooligans Movie” and to give more understanding and more information about fanaticism to the readers.
