- In experimental class, the mean score of pre-test was 66.8 and the mean score of post-test was 79.1. While in control class, the mean score of pre-test was 64 and the mean score of post-test was 72.55. While, both of the classes are improved, the significant improvement happened in experimental class. In addition, the value of the t-test (2.67) was higher than the t-table (2.042) at the level of significant 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) = 38. Based on the result of this research, the researcher concluded that using weblog was effective to improve the students’ writing skills of the first grade at SMKN 1 Bulukumba in academic year 2018/2019.
