  • Based on the result of analysis, the researcher concluded that using auditory learning media was more effective to enrich students’ vocabulary mastery at the first year students of english education departement state islamic university of alauddin makassar, because auditory learning media has some advantages such as each the students know to distinguish homophone expanse in vocabulary by understanding differences. Secondly it can increase the students’ ability to distinguish homophone expanse in vocabulary by understanding the class of words.
