The Use of Music Video Toward the First Grade Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at Islamic Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Bantaeng

  • The data were analyzed quantitatively (frequency, means core, and standard deviation).The research discovered that the students’ vocabulary mastery at the first grade students of Islamic Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Bantaeng increased by using Music Video,by the increase of mean score of experimental group that was 33.73 in the pre-test and 69.69 in the post-test. The result of the t- test 17.18 was higher than t-table, 2.009 (17.18 > 2.009) which shown that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and controlled class. In this study, the effectiveness of Music Video also can be seen from the effectiveness test. Afterwards, the results of the test is 0.96 (R<1)
