- The quantitative results showed that SPSS output for paired sample t-test, t test 5,846> t-table 2,093.The result of the t-test shows that there is significant difference between the score of the t-test and the t-table. Subsequently, it is also supported by the effectiveness test. Where, the result of the test is 0.49 (R <1). This implies that the treatment has significant main effect on the students’ writing skills achievement. The null hypothesis (Ho) is therefore rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The qualitative result from the Questionnaire and the Interview showed that there are 5 factors affecting the development of students’ writing descriptive text skills in MA Madani Alauddin Pao-Pao, they are: Students’ Interest, Teacher’s Strategy, Teacher’s Media, Classroom Environment, and Students’ Learning Strategy.
