  • Based on the information gathered from the respondents, the findings showed that 83% of the samples were female and the rest were male with the age range of between 19 to 22 years old. In addition, it was also found that the majority of students achieved a good score in term of academic. Around 80% of them acquired the GPA of around 3,514,00 which were then classified into grade A students while the others achieved lower GPA and belonged grade B. Moreover, around 63% of these respondents were found to be introvert. The correlation between students’ personality and their achievement were figured out by using Phi Coefficient Correlation formula and it is found that there is no significant correlation between extroversion-introversion personality types and students’ learning achievement of English Education department of UIN Alauddin Makassar. Therefore, the H0 is accepted whilst the Ha is rejected.
