  • The result of the study indicated that the students’ reading skill in pre-test andpost-test differed significantly. It was proved by the value of the t-test 6. 503 which was greater than the critical value t-table 2.045 with the level of significance (p) = 0.05 and degree of freedom (N–1) 29 the mean score of post-test (70.9667) was greater than the mean score of the pre-test (54. 9667). Based on the findings and discussion of the study, the writer drew a conclusion that the students’ reading skill can improve the students’ reading comprehension at the second year of MTs Aisyiyah Sungguminasa
