  • The result of the research showed that the phlegmatic students’listening scores was higher than the sanguine students. It could be seen through the mean scores of both temperament. Mean scores of the sanguine students were 53.82 while the mean scores of the phlegmatic students were 60.7. After calculating the t-test, the researcher found out that t-test value was lower than t table value(-2.231˂1.98). Therefore, the researcher concluded that there was no significant difference between the sanguine and phlegmatic students in their achievement in listening skill. It means that the students’ personality not affect the listening skill, and every students have their own way to achieve their goal in Second Language.
