- This re earch discus ed about the adaptation a novel into drama which based on Base's novel Datu Mu eng dan Maipa Deapati and the drama the endle love of Datu Museng and Maipa Deapti by BST in 2015. This research aimed to find out the adaptation of the novel into its drama that found the difference in both work . Thi re earch focused on Linda Huicheon theory about adaptation through tructural approach. Then, the data were analyzed using qualitative method. The researcher u ed note taking as the instrument to find out the valid data. The finding hawed that there were different among plot, characters, setting, figurative language, the theme, points of view, tone, moral value were the same which might be found both novel and drama. The implication of this re earch i to give more 'information, description and comprehending about adaptation in a novel into a drama
