- The research objectives were to determine: 1) The effect of learning motivation and perceptions on the pedagogic ability of teachers together on student achievement in social science subjects of public high school students in Serang Regency. 2) The effect of learning motivation on the social science learning achievement of students of SMAN in Serang Regency. 3) The effect of perceptions on teacher pedagogy on social science learning achievement of SMAN students in Serang Regency. The research method used is a survey method and uses multiple linear regression statistical analysis. Research results The results showed: 1) There is a significant influence on learning motivation and perceptions of the pedagogical ability of teachers together on the learning achievement of Social Science students of SMAN in Serang Regency. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the Sig. 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount = 37.524. 2) There is a significant effect of learning motivation on the learning achievement of Social Science students of SMAN in Serang Regency. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the Sig. 0.031 <0.05 and t_count = 2.213. 3) There is a significant influence on the perception of pedagogic ability on the learning achievement of Social Science students of SMAN in Serang Regency. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the Sig. 0.000 <0.05 and t_count = 4,933.
